| Local spa to be featured on TV show
Keep your eyes open during TLC's Moving Up program tonight and you will see a Marquis spa. The Independence-based company's Epic model will be featured on the show. Moving Up follows families as they move into new homes, then checks later with previous owners to see how they like changes made by the new owners. The episode with the Epic spa has been dubbed "Singles Nights and Monster Fights." It was filmed July 2006 in Wilmington, Del. Marquis dealer Don Adams of Clearwater Spas coordinated the on-site effort for Marquis Spas. The show is scheduled to be broadcast at 9 tonight. -- Don Currie .

Memon Group, a US$ 5 billion international business conglomerate, today, held a groundbreaking ceremony at Dubai Sports City (DSC) signifying the commencement of construction of the AED 75 million Champions Tower I. Senior company officials including Abu Baker Shaikhani, Chairman, Memon Group; U Balasubramaniam, CEO, Dubai Sports City; Ahmed Shaikhani, Managing Director, Memon Group; Majed Al Suwaidi, Chairman, MHC; Ahmed Sattar, Executive Director, Memon Investments; and Rahmathullah Khan, CEO & Partner, MHC, attended the ceremony. The groundbreaking follows the recent awarding of a construction contract to Majed Hilal Contracting (MHC), who has plotted an ambitious construction schedule, which involves the implementation of the latest engineering techniques to ensure timely delivery of the tower in early 2008.
